Wellington Primary Academy opened on a brand new purpose-built site in September 2014. Maximum expected number of pupils of 420 (when fully open) and a 30 place Nursery.

EYFS and KS1 Teachers x 2
KS2 Teacher (Maternity Cover) – All roles required to start September 2017

Salary: MPS

Due to the opening of new classes in September 2017 and the expansion of Wellington Primary Academy, we require teachers who have a passion for learning and teaching and who are able to make an active contribution to the development of our school. We are looking for an EYFS, KS1 teachers and a KS2 teacher who are:

  • Creative and forward thinking
  • Committed to developing children as thinkers and developing a growth mindset
  • Able to develop cross-curricular approaches to learning
  • Excited and inspired by their work
  • Has experience of teaching across the primary age range would be advantageous (for KS1 and KS2 teacher roles)
  • Able to work in partnership with all staff
  • Able to offer exciting enrichment and extra-curricular activities through our after-school Golden Eagle programme

Assistant Manager - The Nest

37.5 Hours Per Week – Term Time + 3 Weeks. £20,760 to £24,208 FTE (Salary to be pro-rated and will be dependant on skills and experience)

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within a purpose built Nursery which opened in May 2015 on the site of the Wellington Primary Academy in Tidworth. The Nest is registered for 30 children between the ages of 2 – 5 years and opens from 7.30am – 6.00pm daily, 48 weeks of the year.

The Assistant Manager will work under the Nursery Manager and will provide high quality, flexible childcare for families from the local communities. The role will involve supporting the children that attend the nursery, their parents and fellow colleagues with all SEND matters to ensure all children are given the appropriate support to reach their full potential. Providing guidance to all team members with the early identification and intervention for children who may benefit from additional support regarding their physical, emotional and social development.

Cover Key Worker - The Nest

Hours: 08.45-11.45 and/or 12.45 -15.45 – Term Time Only. £7.95 per hour

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within a purpose built Nursery which opened in May 2015 on the site of the Wellington Primary Academy in Tidworth. The Nest is registered for 30 children between the ages of 2 – 5 years and opens from 7.30am – 6.00pm daily.

As a Cover Key Worker, you will be responsible for a small group of key children within the nursery. You will work under the direction of the Nursery Manager to provide safe high quality education and care for young children.

1:1 Key Worker - The Nest

Fixed Term contract to commence renewable every three months potentially until July 2018 (funding dependent) G9 (£14,141) to G12 (£15,649) to be pro-rated. 9.5 hours per week – Term Time Only (Monday, Thursday and Friday afternoons 12:45pm – 3:45pm, with a potential to increase hours from September 2017)

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within a purpose built Nursery which opened in May 2015 on the site of the Wellington Primary Academy in Tidworth. The Nest is registered for 30 children between the ages of 2 – 5 years and opens from 7.30am – 6.00pm daily.

The Nest is looking to appoint a Key Worker to work 1:1 with a child requiring constant care. As the 1:1 Key Worker, you will be responsible for that individual within the nursery. You will work under the direction of the Nursery Manager to provide safe high quality education and care for that specific child.
