Clare Robertson
Mrs Clare Robertson - Manager/SENCo/Designated Safeguarding Lead

Foundation Degree Early Years Science

Hi, my name is Clare Robertson and I am Manager for The Nest. I have lived in the local area nearly all my life, both in the military and as a civilian. I am married with two children. I have been involved in childcare for 11 years now. I love being the Manager of The Nest and can't wait to get to know everyone and get involved in the local area.

My name is Karen Walker. I have three grown up children. I have lived in Tidworth for nine years and have worked with children for 15 years. My job roles include one to one help, teaching assistant, pre-school assistant, deputy and childminder. I now work in Wellington Primary Academy as well as The Nest, and look forward to the years ahead with the Wellington group.

Hello, my name is Deborah Spencer and I am a Key Person for The Nest. I moved to Tidworth in August 2015 with my husband who is a serving soldier and have a child of my own. I have been working with children for six years within a nursery setting. I am excited to now be working at The Nest and looking forward to working with the children here.

My name is Katie Reed I have studied Childcare and Education, Level 2 at Yorkshire Coast College. Myself, my husband (a serving soldier) and our 7 year old son moved from Yorkshire to Tidworth in September 2015. I work in the Wellington Primary Academy in the mornings and I'm very pleased to be given the opportunity to be a Key Person in The Nest in the afternoons. I am really looking forward to the years ahead working with such a great team.

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

My name is Meghann Jones and I am a Key Person at The Nest. I have a Level two in support teaching and learning in schools and will soon be continuing my studies further. I am originally from South Africa but now live in Bulford with my husband who is in the military and my daughter.

I look forward to being a part of The Nest as well as learning and growing in my career.

Hi, my name is Laura Enright. I started at The Nest in September 2016 as a Key Person. I have lived in Tidworth since July 2014 and before that we lived in Catterick. I have two children, a girl and a boy. I have worked in childcare for nearly seven years and after having my children I volunteered at a playgroup. I am now very excited to be working at The Nest and look forward to working with the children.

Hi my name is Jen and I have moved to Tidworth from Bristol. I have been working within childcare settings for the past 12 years. I have two children of my own and find that working with children is very rewarding.

I originally come from Ludgershall but I lived in Bath and Swindon for a period of time before returning to the local area. I now live in Collingbourne with my young daughter. Before having my daughter, I worked as a Primary school teacher in Swindon for 11 years. I am thoroughly enjoying working with the children in the afternoons at The Nest.

I have worked in a childcare setting for the last seven years before coming to The Nest. I live in Tidworth with my husband and my son. I really enjoy working with children and are looking forward to learning more at The Nest.

Hi my name is Jodie Ford and I am the Administrator for The Nest. I moved to Bulford in 2013 and then moved over to Tidworth in 2014. I have experience with working with children as I used to be a Childminder a few years ago. I have also have had various administer jobs in different private/public sector roles.


Amanda Mellor
Mrs Amanda Mellor - Administrative Assistant (Currently on maternity leave)

NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration and Customer Service

Hi, my name is Amanda Mellor and I started work with the Wellington Family in April 2015 as The Nest Administrator. I previously worked at Home-Start as a Secretary for four years supporting families. I moved to Bulford in August 2014 with my husband and rescue dog. We're enjoying living in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. I look forward to working within The Nest team and helping the setting expand.

My name is Chelsea-May Robertson, I work as bank cover for the office. I'm currently studying at Peter Symonds College and will be going to university in September 2017 to study Sports Injury and Massage. I have lived in Tidworth and Bulford area my whole life, and have helped out in the community in many different ways. I can't wait to learn and work with a great team at the Nest.
